Honestly don't see the point in letting kids dress themselves for school. Everyone should wear the same thing, so the poor kids don't get bullied for wearing basic clothing, fashion isn't the priority, kids who don't like dressing up don't have to choose what to wear that day, they get used to public decency and dress codes which may be enforced at their future jobs. The only issues are the uniforms have to be, well, uniform. And affordable, and some children will have sensory problems with certain clothes, which may be difficult to account for.
