The law should aid beneficial activities, and copyright law has been a shit show benefiting mostly massive corporations for decades. "Piracy" is more than justified when it is for a good cause, such as for preservation when streaming shows are being disappeared from public availability. But this is not a good cause.
You should not need permission to read, but you're a human who these laws were intended to benefit, not a plagiarism machine.
