Yikes! Antenna orientation really really matters. I knew that of course, but to see it in such detail really drives the point home. My local router is 3.7 miles away. With my antenna horizontally polarized I got -106 RSSI and 2.25 SNR. When I vertically polarize it my RSSI improves to -100 and SNR goes to 5.75!
