#WordWeavers 15/Jul: How clever is your MC? Are they cleverer than you?
As I currently write a book about 100 Devil-tales from German folklore, I must say that it depends on the narrator.
In some tales, the Devil is likely cleverer than I am. In other, his intelligence is comparable to that of a Warner Brothers cartoon villain.
Including falling for the old "that rifle is really a cigar, honest!" trick.
