This weird thought just came out of my brain ~> What if there were a way to combine SSB/voice with digital modes for actually making the contact and solving the DX pileup problem? The DX station hears your short digital transmission, acknowledges it, which places you in a queue (and this helps indicate whether they'll be able to hear you via voice.) You stop txmitting and wait for your call. DX station calls next station on the list and you complete full SSB exchange. #HamRadio
