One of the most irrefutable arguments for Ukraine joining the EU was that they were riddled with corruption: the pot calling the kettle black, but I digress.
In order to address this concern, the EU urged Ukraine to set up anti corruption institutions.
Just recently one such institution was up for a tax audit.
Millions missing.
They were confiscating money here and there under the table, using it to buy "crypto", and then trying to wash it through various addresses and so on, then selling it and lining their own pockets.
This is their National Anti Corruption Bureau that was doing this.
