I haven't seen an 8-K like this before.
On July 25, 2024, Meta Materials Inc. said it became aware its website, email system and some IT systems "were significantly disrupted and taken offline." The company said it learned that a former company executive "deliberately de-activated and cancelled the renewal of the Company’s website," which knocked out its email that "significantly impacted the Company’s IT systems."
