The Parliament of Uganda during Tuesday passed a law which includes a ban against just identifying as LGBTQ, life imprisonment against gay sex, State-murder (death "penalty") against "aggravated homosexuality" and 10 years imprisonment for "attempted homosexuality".
Of the 389 members of parliament present only 1 didn't support the proposal.
"Congratulations. Whatever we are doing, we are doing it for the people of Uganda." said Anita Among, the "Right Honourable" Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda after the hate-law was passed.
