It is 2 differents views, with good and less good consequences.
blusky :
- They can block / mute / hide account for you
- They filter spam as they want and in real time (because they have a good view of all spam message)
- The network streams are watched and secure, but for less privacy.
- It is one network and one client. If there is an attack, only one wall to explode, less resilient, but also one wall to protect.
- It is a company and it can be blocked / limited / spied (collecting ID) by state.
- Content is filtered by law, less chance to see unexpected content.

- You have to mute account
- there is a "work in progress" spam/bot filtering on relay (it is not easy to do)
- The network is not watch globally (only partially by each relay), much more privacy allowed.
- It is a multi-relay / multi-client network. It also mean they can have more weakness points to attack (if there is an attack). It means more wall to protect, but also a kind of resilience for the ones who are protected.
- It is a completely free protocol not linked to any company or state.
- You could find any content even bad ones... no filter means no filter. It is not a network for children.
There is no perfect tool yet. You have to choose the one that fit your needs. Like we all have do.
