I'm actually curious on how Web of Trust and ZKP would work in regards to social media - so like Twitter/X-like Nostr clients.
Consider this scenario:
Alice trusts Bob's insights on controversial topic X.
Bob trusts Charlie's insights on controversial topic X.
Because of how controversial the topic X is, Alice and Bob both want their designations of trust to be hidden.
Alice did not directly designate her trust in Charlie on topic X, but would benefit from his insights.
With PGFT built into a Nostr client, could Charlie's content appear on Alice's feed while keeping the trust relationships private?
Would Pretty Good Freedom Tech support this kind of private, transitive trust?
