CIA-driven conspiracy theories are always funny to be because time has shown that:
1. The CIA is extremely bad at keeping secrets, especially in modern times
2. The CIA has like 5 times at least as many incompetent misadventures than they do truly successful operations
I despise the CIA with all my heart, but your average CIA agent or contractor is more like Nixon's "White House Plumbers" which contained many with CIA links than a secret agent movie.
