Lassen -especially Manzanita Lake - is probably one of my favorite places in the world.
Feels a bit like when the Banyon tree in Lahaina burned.
Yes, I know Lassen is no stranger to destruction. Still very sad.
And yes I know this fire could have started any number of ways, but I would still like to see the fucker who started this be dropped by a CalFire water tender right into the middle of the blaze.
