to edit a tag you have to take the post down, modify the tags and then put the post back up.
on some platforms this is automated but it doesn't change that it has to occur.
and perhaps proposals for tags would be more reasonable??
put simple, i don't think every single individual alone knows all the appropriate tags for their content.
