"Teenage inappropriate" books I read, and adored, as a kid:
* Wheel of Time. Sex, violence, magic, and crazy theology. Losing Robert Jordan sucked so much.
* Tomorrow When the War Began. The main character was my age as I read each one. They discovered sex a bit slower than me, but I loved every moment of the books.
* Animorphs. War, theology, philosophy, torture, sex, and Rachel. Oh wow, Rachel was... Something. I loved it.
* Weird Tales. Especially Conan the Barbarian.
