The right to live independently is often denied those with various disabilities... with the system of care focussed on 'fixing' them rather supporting their actual, real lives.
Now, the Labour Party offers another inquiry, but we already know what is needed.
The last Royal Commission on Care, set up by Tony Blair’s New Labour government, made a compelling (but expensive) case for supporting independent living.
Since then. Nada!
