I'm not sure a lot of computer people even get that aspect in regard to the GPU. I still have people putting down the Apple machines because 'it's just an integrated GPU, not a discrete one.'
Sure, it is an entirely different GPU architecture (with +/-), and doesn't have some of the massive amount of hardware aspects an Nvidia or AMD card has... but for the stuff it is good at, it blows them away.
(That said, from a 3D/CAD perspective in real-world apps, we're just at the, this is getting realistic point.)
