I have several years in skin preservation as a small tannery.
I have never done pets, but if you wanted to get her taxidermied later, I can at least give you instructions on how to skin and preserve her, although it is unpleasant (or it might just be better to gut and freeze her for processing by an experienced taxidermist, I only have experience as a tanner)
