If you thought the Laffer Curve (that tax cuts can be paid for by the extra economic activity they stimulate) was an idea long ago disproved, you'll be interested to note that Richard Tice (ReformUK's finance spokesperson) has been evoking the idea as part of the defence of accusations that Nigel Farage's tax cutting proposals are unfunded & unsustainable...
Like other zombis ideas of right wing political economy, merely disproving them doesn't kill them off - they're too useful!
