To illustrate my first point. We get lots of election analysis, will Trump take this or that state, etc. It's all presented as fast-moving and uncertain.
But something that is *already certain* is that most white Americans vote for the far-right. This means that far-right politics is a viable route to local power in many US states, cities and towns. We already know this, and we can plan accordingly.
