I am looking at a git repo associated with a research paper that's just ~50 zip files. There are 150 commits, all of which consist in uploading or updating one of the zip files.
It's a good paper, in a good journal, from a very successful research group.
I am very confused.
I have been using git for years, not only because it makes me feel more productive, but also because I think it makes it easier for others to understand and contribute to my code.
Am I wrong?
