I actually do something similar! My mom taught me when I was really young to always say something nice to myself when I pass a mirror no matter how down I feel.
She always said it was important to like yourself.
It works. I can always find something to appreciate, and somehow find it easier after all these years of practice.
She said it makes a person glow. I think she might have been right. 💛
