From my opinion muun is good at obfuscating history in a very simple way. You can send a lightning payment to muun wallet and then use it for onchain payments. For this to happen muun always creates new UTXO and the history link is broken.
I don't see it as a lightning wallet but as a "bridge" wallet between on-chain off-chain and it does this job well.
However I don't know how (in what order) UTXOs are selected for spending when you have multiple UTXOs from different off-chain->on-chain transactions. I guess it is random, depending on if the on-chain transaction I want to do is equal or smaller value than one of the UTXOs, then this specific UTXO is selected. If the transaction value is greater than 1 UTXO, then more UTXOs are combined.
Long story short, I don't know how UTXOs are being selected which one to spend and which not but muun is good to break link with history and spend on-chain BTC from newly created UTXO.
