The one thing Labour appears to be for is appeasing finance and the markets. The predominantly white, middle-class cabinet is as far removed from the daily lives of people on benefits as was the Tory cabinet before them. I never expected significant change from the the likes of Starmer, Reeves, Cooper and Streeting.
