Just reading an article called "How I learned Haskell in just 15 years."
I feel pretty smug, it did not take me a whole 15 years to learn Haskell, it only took me like 14.5 years.
I think with mentoring or tutoring you could probably pick it up a lot faster, a few concepts (like monads and type classes) seem difficult at first, but once you see how they are actually used in practice, it becomes pretty obvious. If someone can just point it out to you, monads are pretty easy to understand.
