More on that spurious claim that it's classist and ableist to be against AI writing tools:
I tutored writing in a jail for many years, and as we worked on getting down sentences, students would sometimes say things like, "you say it--you can say it better than me."
--But that wouldn't have been them writing. That would have been me putting what they wanted to say into my words. (+)
