Likely unpopular perspecive but I feel compelled to share it:

When Saylor is rumored to have influenced an unpopular action (without all details, reasoning and motivations having been revealed or even an opportunity for him to publicly address it): "knock your idols off their pedestals!"

When Jack speaks eloquent but incredibly ironic words about free speech and the public square (in light of a ton of information we now know about the Twitter files, and having had years to publicly address it): "what a hero!", "well said!", "fight the machine!", "go Blue Sky, uh... I mean Nostr!"

Has the elephant in the room ever been addressed? Is he under a gag order? Is unabashedly lying to the public, some of whom had their decade+ nurtured "crypto Twitter" accounts deactivated 🖐️, OK under certain conditions? Does he get a pass because he was such a young billionaire? Because there was a "lawyer" in the room (who also lied)? Because he was a minority shareholder? Was he threatened with imprisonment?

What would a hero have done in those circumstances?

I apologize in advance if it has been addressed and I just missed it. Links/info would be appreciated.

I'm happy to have my admittedly incompletely formed opinion changed based on new and missing information, about both situations. But for the time being my neurons are signaling a pretty glaring double standard and I'd like to better understand what underlies it.
