To me, Redis has had caused much greater effect on our lives than every LLM and generative algorithm combined.
Not only Redis, but many other technologies that are building blocks of the internet and computers, like SQLite, systemd, etc.
Its just that these technologies didn't made as much fuss or as many claims and didn't require sign ups. They just silently carried the whole infrastructure of the internet and modern computing, silently.
