When I got the job I was hoping for 9 years ago, I couldn't afford to live that close, but I moved to a small nearby town. Now that I'm retired, everything is very close. It's tricky riding a bike in America, with so few shielded bike paths - paint is not protection! And more bad drivers. But I'm lucky to be able to choose times and routes.
