worse cultures (sure, nebulous concept) produce worse outcomes as mentioned already (lots of numbers)…like mortality, obesity, divorce, education or whatever…things resulting from things/culture internal to the state, not due to out of state exploitation.
of course country folk like a farmer can be much smarter than whoever…i’d say sometimes much wiser. but not if they are racist/misogynist.
conservative leaders always make poorer people poorer. racism/misogyny clouds judgement and these red state ppl vote against their own interests, voting for conservatives bc they do not think straight bc they are low education and racist/misogynist. something like that.

if they are disaffected because they are struggling, if they were smarter and not racist/misogynistic, they’d have voted to improve their situation with harris…instead, they just always vote for republican conservatives because that’s the only place racists and misogynists are willing to put their votes.
