Yes... IF it's fast and cheap to send sats/coins/value.
Bitcoin was unusable for this for months due to fees being high plus block confirmation times being long as well.
No one wants to wait for 3 or 4 block confirmations to buy a 3$ coffee and pay $12 in fees.
