I'm in exactly the same situation. Great pharmacist, doctor, dentist and hairdresser. It's just not the same as friends, who are there for you in truly difficult times. I find it gets harder to make friends as you get older. I suspect you are much younger than me, and make an effort to do community based activities. I do like my solo adventures, but if you believe all the research it doesn't make up for connection. You also have wonderdog! 😊
