Have dumped audible. I use libro.fm for audiobooks now, which has a similar subscription setup to audible but you can set your account to support a local bookstore and you actual own the books (downloadable MP3 files ftw.)
Unfortunately I still haven't figured out how to 'jailbreak' my audible audiobooks, so I need to keep using the audible app to listen to them or lose access to them.
