If I just zap you 1 sat, how do I know the serial number of it? If I’m running ordinal
Software, do we agree that it’s the same or is it disputed? Who decides consensus or ordinal numbering?
As you said a Satoshi doesn’t exist in the sense of an identifiable object, but rather is a common measure of unit of 0.000000001 BTC-worth of UTXO. You currently can’t spend less than that unless the devs recode the system and what happens when we have a micro-Sat where 1 sat today is 10 micro-Sats tomorrow and an ordinal gets cut into 10 pieces. Do you now have 10 pieces of a once rare singular art?
