It’s interesting that the European perspective usually uses the word “obsession”.
If you talk to most gun owners you’ll notice that obsession is actually necessary expertise or learning since handling a gun is a very very serious matter.
This is of course outside of Hollywood gun play, which could also be why it’s considered an “obsession”.
