Could someone give me advice for whether I should use iron-on backing or sew on a lining for reinforcing fabric?
I'm trying to reinforce my nana's old apron. The apron is over 100 years old since it was my great grandmother's apron as well and has been repaired several times by each person, including myself, so the fabric is very thin. I don't have a sewing machine but I could probably borrow one from a friend.
