Yes, there are similarities.
I ignored the mask mandate and sought out restaurants, gyms, and other business with the same mindset.
I bought a fake mask to wear in contexts where avoidance was impossible (e.g. airplanes). I ignored the vaccine, and didn’t object to those who obtained fake certs online.
Twitter compliance will be similar. I foresee massive use of burner phones, VPNs, and fake documentation services for privacy minded individuals who insist on doing business on that platform. Best case NOSTR makes them irrelevant though.
