Ardainian Right (npub1lhh…adds) I viewed DeSantis's strategy as promoting Trumpism without Trump, which I personally find very appealing (memes and aggressiveness aside, there's a lot about Trump personally I really dislike), but most Republican primary voters didn't feel the same way, and wanted the real deal rather than the copy.
