In a way, #Mastodon is like an elaborate organic search engine. Instead of just typing "Babylon 5" & reading for 60 seconds, I can explain why I'm searching & then let the #fediverse instruct me. It's like a proto-#AI or something. Less efficient, but more amusing.
Anyhoo. I was always fuzzy on the matter of #Babylon5, which I've still never seen. For years I think I confused it with #StarTrekDS9 for maybe obvious reasons, mainly similar names & I think they were on around the same time. The thing is, I was never sure until ~8 years ago which one was #StarTrek. And so I still have this idea in my head that B5 is closely connected to Star Trek. But I guess I've never been able to bother to take the tiny step of filling in the gap.
Anyone care to expound on any relation between ST & B5?
