Idk who that harry browne fella is, but the answer is yes. $STRF is a far superior product to US or any other bonds. They are currently trading at par, and their first dividend will be paid at the end of June just FYI.

I would also consider STRK perhaps instead of stocks or gold. STRK is senior to MSTR pays $8/share and is convertible to MSTR (10 STRK = 1 MSTR), so you can participate in most of the upside of MSTR.

I would look at a breakdown like this:

40% STRF
30% STRK
20% Gold (if you must) or BTC
10% Cash

The blended dividend between STRF/STRK is around 9% at the moment. So you get way more income than you can with US bonds, and they are backed 5 to 1 by Bitcoin. They also sit higher in the capital structure of Strategy so they get made whole in a bankruptcy scenario before common stock (MSTR) share holders.

These 2 products are still not well understood by the market, so they’re not properly priced imo. No rush, but I would suggest doing the due diligence sooner rather later so you can help your mom with her portfolio
