So I had a $95 payment in sats for my saffron in July 2022, and ever since that, I have been using those sats for sending very small payments & also zapping on Nostr since Nostr began, so far, I have paid $60 through sats & I still have $136 according to today's rate. I have used these sats regardless of the BTC price, but it's just a small example of what BTC does over a longer interval if you are just patient & use it steadily.
