EA and Ubisoft are more aggressive. I don't like what Capcom did with dragon's dogma 2, but you can have access to everything they wanna sell through in-game currency and you only have to buy stuff once (with real money) to have access to the benefits. EA has a history of pay to win games (like FIFA) and Ubisoft even put in-game ads. At the end of the day, gamers are not completely against microtransactions, unfortunately
