Recently I was told, in no uncertain terms, that Hinkley Point C, with a price strike of £92.50/MWh would deliver the "most expensive electricity on the planet".
We really need to bust the myth that renewables are going to deliver us cheap power. It simply does not and you have to ask anyone who claims such a thing the following question: "cheap, for who?". Investors yes, consumers absolutely not.
