I need a reliable 100 mile range. Already decided I can do the long journeys other ways.
But yeah, and I think PHEVs are a good answer to that. If I had one I doubt I'd spend more than a tenner a month on petrol.
They're just not available at the bottom end yet though. Older Leafs are, and even some of the second-gen ones are starting to look affordable.
