I try to be a good member of the fediverse by hosting my company accounts on my own mastodon instance. I already have a dedicated server. So I put it on there using the official docker instructions. For the second time now, updating this thing ended up in a pile of grief. Files not loading, binaries missing, instructions unclear, nginx config wrong. All kind of horrible stuff. Why can't it be as simple as discourse. Discourse is easy to keep updated >_<
