strong urge to try and make a declarative package definition format for #postmarketOS/Alpine.
just imagine... not having the entire feature space of the shell be part of your file format.
this would also invite a new build tool, which could have first class support for cross compiling, at least for some build systems like meson that support cross compiling out of the box.
i hate that we run meson in QEMU
