I need a better way to post-process scanned images. I'm currently using Imagemagick and a Python wrapper script, but even on a Ryzen it's slow as molasses.
Anyone know of something a bit more performant? I need to load 400dpi A4- or Letter-size TIFF files, apply level or curve adjustments, threshold to B&W, and save as either PNG (for greyscale) or Group4 TIFF (for B&W).
Suggestions and boosts appreciated!
