But because it cost so much to produce, and they produced so many cartridges, Atari still had around $100 million in losses. That was considered the biggest flop in videogame history, and the main responsible for the videogames crash in the 80's.

Adjusted for inflation, $100 million in 1982 is equivalent to $326,736,787.56 nowadays. Less than what Sony lost on Concord.
