I read this idea many years ago and it’s always stuck with me
You basically have two types of attention. Internal and external. We are always in constant flux between the two.
I think as I’ve gotten older I’ve slowly become predominantly internally focused. For better or worse. Sortve a classic headcase.
Going to spend some time thinking about that. Recognizing when my narrative becomes far too internal and slowly pull myself back into the external. Or something.
