I have been going to the movie theater more, mostly for its own sake. I have also made a point of avoiding previews, I try to walk in just as the movie is starting.
The effect has been a positive one. I find that even for movies I don't enjoy, I am able to watch the movie with no preconceptions. The whole movie is a fresh experience, and I can form my own opinion.
