Climatists are religious fanatics, I don't think there is much use in trying to convince them of a monetary policy change is going to be very effective. Here I'll play devils advocate
Raising interest rates will price low income people out of home ownership and create a bigger wealth gap!!!
Also it will take too long, we need radical change now. We can't wait years for peoples spending habits to change.
Bitcoin uses energy.....period, we need to use less energy..... period.
If bitcoin is using wasted energy then we need not waste that energy mining Bitcoin, but put it to use doing something actually productive, like growing fake meat
